Founded in 2020 by Architect Rohan Chauhan, Veda Arch is an architectural and sustainability consulting firm based in Shimla and Noida. We have completed over 150+ projects ranging from small-scale private residences and cafes to large-scale state-of-the-art modern offices and commercial developments. Our work reflects our commitment to innovative design and sustainable practices, shaping spaces that inspire and endure.

About Founder

Rohan Chauhan, founder of Veda Arch, brings over a decade of experience as an architect and sustainability consultant. With IGBC Accredited Professional, GRIHA Certified Professional, and GRIHA Evaluator certifications, his expertise focuses on integrating sustainable practices into architectural designs.

Mr. Chauhan’s diverse portfolio encompasses a significant range of projects for both government and private sectors. His professional experience includes associations with industry leaders such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce, and Passive Design Consultants. Notable works include the Central Vista CCS Blocks 1, 2, and 3, Super Specialty Blocks under the PMSSY Scheme, IIT campuses in Palakkad, Tirupati, and Patna, Inland Water Transport (IWT) initiatives, as well as developments for ATS, Supertech, M3M, Dasnac, Jayabheri Properties Construction, and My Home Construction Pvt.

About Co-Founder & CEO

Himanshi Sharma is an architect and environmental planner with expertise in sustainable design and green building practices. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master’s in Environmental Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture, she has worked on projects blending ecological responsibility with innovative architecture. Her professional experience includes collaborations with the Wildlife Institute of India in Ladakh and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) on climate change initiatives. She has also worked with the Town and Country Planning Department in Shimla, overseeing regional and development plans for sustainable urban growth.

Passionate about preserving cultural heritage and promoting responsible design, Himanshi leads Veda Arch in creating sustainable and contextually rich spaces. Outside of her architectural work, she is an avid writer and traveler, sharing her insights on architecture, travel, and environmental sustainability through her blog, The Himalayan Architect.

About Partner | Business Head

Apoorv Chauhan is the Partner and Business Head at Veda Arch, responsible for business strategy, client relations, project coordination, and organizational growth. Since joining the firm in 2023, he has been instrumental in expanding Veda Arch’s presence across Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, and surrounding regions while strengthening its reputation for delivering thoughtful architectural and interior design solutions.

With a strong understanding of business management and project execution, Apoorv works closely with clients, consultants, and design teams to ensure smooth communication, efficient planning, and a seamless project experience from concept to completion. His approach combines strategic thinking with a deep commitment to client satisfaction, helping translate design visions into successful outcomes.

Apoorv holds an MBA from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. His focus on professional excellence, long-term relationships, and sustainable business growth continues to support Veda Arch’s vision of creating meaningful and impactful built environments.
